From the Yard to the Table: My Journey Through Omega

It all started on the yard. Rho Epsilon. Fall of 1994. That chapter made me. It shaped how I saw leadership, brotherhood, and the responsibility that comes with wearing the shield.
Back then, I was a college kid with ambition—but not yet clarity. It was Omega that gave me both. I learned that strength isn’t just in the voice—it’s in the follow-through. That love for the Bruhz isn’t just spoken—it’s shown.
After college, like many of us, life pulled me in different directions. But in 2005, through the Get Right Program, I reactivated and committed to deeper service through Xi Kappa Kappa Chapter in Yazoo City. Since then, I’ve worked at every level of our Fraternity—putting in the hours, showing up for the chapters, and helping to build platforms that uplift our mission.
Outside of Omega, my journey has included work in business, education, public policy, and sports management. These experiences taught me how to lead teams, manage budgets, navigate challenges, and execute vision.
But no matter the boardroom or the campus, I always return to the Brotherhood. Because this Fraternity isn’t just what I pledged—it’s how I live.
That’s why I’m running. Not because I want to sit at the table—but because I believe every Bruh deserves a seat. I believe our next level as a state organization will only come when we honor our legacy, invest in our chapters, and lead with the future in mind.
Mississippi Omega has given me so much. This campaign is my way of giving something back—with action.
And I’m just getting started.
